Text Box: In my experience keeping three or more dogs is when trouble can start.  Two dogs are usually fairly easily kept.  Three or more dogs is a different story.  Also, with three or more dogs, they begin to kill your grass where they normally walk, creating dirt paths around the yard.

Text Box: If you have more than one dog, you must feed them together or ‘food aggression’ can develop. Stay with the dogs while feeding them to block any bad behavior.  Never let one dog eat from the others bowl even when the other is finished.  Dump any uneaten food back into the container.

Text Box: If your dog is overweight and still acts hungry after feeding, try giving him some carrots.  Carrots are low calorie and my dogs love them.
